Extras (1)

ET642 comes with various extras. A wet weather front awning provides shade and keeps the rain off when getting things out of the boot.

The orange tie downs secure the Fiamma awning in the wind.

Sections of foam "noodles" on guy ropes reduce the risk of tripping.

All poles, pegs and ropes are included.

The stabilisers have been fitted with plastic feet using stainless steel bolts and self locking nuts. These feet can be filled with water to deter ants and other crawling insects.

Pole carriers have been fitted to the front and rear of the van to carry the annex roof bars and all poles.

A fold up picnic table has been installed on the outside of the van.

What is an Eco-Tourer?

Eco-Tourers are folding caravans designed and largely made in Australia and sold by Caravan Court (Australia) Pty Ltd based in Springvale, Melbourne. The specs and pricing for new vans are at the website ecotourer.com.au which includes this description of the vans:

The amazing Eco Tourer is a low profile, aerodynamic styled folding caravan.  It converts to a spacious solid wall caravan in only seconds. Three layouts are available: single beds; double bed; and double bed with shower and toilet. Each layout is available in Standard, Hybrid or Off-road configurations. The internal layout has been carefully designed for optimum weight distribution and also for maximum bench space and living area ...

The Eco-Tourer has two big advantages over regular caravans, the first being the ease with which it tows. Carefully designed for optimal weight distribution, it's very compact, low profile and aerodynamic shape make Eco-Tourer a breeze to tow. The second major advantage is its ability to be easily stored in a regular garage, thanks to the combination of it's low height when folded and the addition of a folding draw bar.
